They are searching for an Assistant Warehouse Manager, CDR, for their Distribution Center located in Orlando, FL. The successful applicant is responsible for driving warehouse productivity, inventory management, shipping and receiving, associate relations and controllable expenses.

Responsibilities

  • - Acting as Assistant Warehouse Manager, CDR and taking care of all duties of Manager in their absence.
  • - The Assistant Warehouse Manager, CDR will partner with the Operations Manager to enforce company, state, federal laws, and regulations and safeguard company resources.
  • - Ensure warehouse meets or surpasses Operations, Quality and Safety Standards
  • - Manage inventory workflow and improve processes when applicable.
  • - Ensure efficient operations, appropriate cost controls including cost reduction by meeting and maintaining labor initiatives, inventory workflow, shipments, and warehouse operations.
  • - Oversee daily warehouse operations ensuring processes and procedures are in place improving the process when necessary.
  • - Ensure operations conform to the organization’s policies and procedures, values, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • - Assisting the Manager with operational production.
  • - Providing exceptional customer service and sustaining relationships with vendors.
  • - Updating logs and order forms.
  • - Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Operations Manager.
  • - The Assistant Warehouse Manager, CDR will assist in all aspects of purchasing, storage, distribution, inventory management of medications and pharmacy-related supplies across the organization.
  • - This position will be involved in calculated acquisition practices and supplier relationships to ensure beneficial purchasing methodology.
  • - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • - Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • - Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or a related field.
  • - 3+ Years in operations, logistics, or management experience.
  • - 3+ Years managerial experience.
  • - Licensed Florida Certified Designated Representative (CDR) or eligible to take the exam.
  • - Excellent organizational skills.
  • - Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • - Current, valid US driver’s license.
  • - Strong work ethic.
  • - Able to work in a safe work environment by complying with environmental, health and safety standards.
  • - Able to work overtime as required including weekends.
  • - Able to give and receive positive and constructive feedback in a respectful and professional manner.
  • - 1-2 years of verifiable work experience in a licensed pharmacy, drug wholesaler, drug distributor, or drug manufacturer
  • - Candidates should have current knowledge of all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
  • - Work experience in a pharmacy licensed in this state or another state, where the applicant’s responsibilities included, but were not limited to, record keeping for prescription drugs.
  • - Managerial experience with the United States Armed forced, where the applicant’s responsibilities included, but not limited to, recordkeeping, warehousing, distributing, or other logistics services pertaining to prescription drugs.

Physical Requirements

  • - Frequent standing and walking.
  • - Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
  •  

Must pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
